M: Hello. International Friends Club. Can I help you？

W: Oh, hello. I read about your club in the paper today and I thought I’d phone to find out a bit more.

M: Yes, certainly, well, we’re a sort of social club for people from different countries. It’s quite a new club — we have about 50 members at the moment, but we’re growing all the time.

W: That sounds interesting.

M: Sorry, I can’t pick you up at the airport. But my brother will meet you there.

W: What does your brother look like?

M: Well, he’s fairly tall. He has short light brown hair, and he’s certainly not a strong man.

M: I have only 10 dollars. Is it enough for three tickets?

W: Well, you can buy three 2-dollar tickets, or three 3-dollar tickets, whichever you prefer.

M: I’ll take the cheaper seats, please.

W: Is there anything I can do for you?

M: Yes, please! I’m looking for a diamond necklace for my wife. It’s her birthday next week. Besides, she can also wear it to the dance party held at Season Hotel.

W: They smell beautiful, don’t they? They’re from my grandmother’s garden. 

M: Yeah. They look very nice in this vase.
